Drifter

‘Drifter’ is a collection of new works for horn that emotionally drift between external explorations of vivid nightscapes to reflections on internal states of being. These pieces were written by dear friends and collaborators while we were students at Curtis Institute of Music and The Juilliard School. Looking back, I see these pieces as a result of my desire to drift away from traditional horn repertoire and expectations within the classical field.
